Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

Posted by editor on 11/03/15

Hudson Valley restaurant week is happening now through November 15th, and residents here at the Castle can take advantage of dining at some of Westchester’s top restaurants at a great price!

For a set fixed price, Port Chester and fellow Westchester residents can make their way to their favorite local spots or use it as an excuse to try someplace new and enjoy a fabulous meal! Over 200 restaurants in the Hudson Valley and Westchester area participate in this engaging event for local residents. Lunches usually run at the fixed price of $20.95 and a dinner will cost you about $29.95.

Some local Port Chester favorite eateries are participating in the event! Rye House which serves American cuisine, Saltaire Oysterbar and Fish House which serve some of the best seafood around, Sonora Restaurant with their exquisite Spanish cuisine and Tarry Lodge’s mouthwatering Italian food are all serving fixed price meals throughout the week to customers. If you would like a list of all restaurants in Westchester as well as the rest of the Hudson Valley, you can find the list here. If you are looking for a specific area, or want to use the week to try out a new type of cuisine, the Hudson Valley Restaurant Week website makes it easy to narrow down your search so you can find exactly what you need!

Almost half of these restaurants are conveniently located a short distance from Metro North train stations—close enough to even walk! Reservations are very highly recommended, as most restaurants expect a full house daily for both lunch and dinner. Make sure to take a break from those expensive city dinners if you are a commuter and stop by a local restaurant, it could be your new favorite go to place!
