Restaurant Spotlight: Rosemary and Vine in Rye

Posted by editor on 01/28/16

Just a few months old, Rosemary and Vine is already making a name for itself in Westchester and in our neighboring town of Rye. Just a short drive away from us here in Port Chester, this new Mediterranean eatery is a great option for our residents at The Castle if you are searching for a great local place for a night out.

As soon as you walk through the door, you are immersed into a full Mediterranean dining experience. Forgetting you are in Westchester, this restaurant can make anyone feel as though you are dining on the island of Santorini or Capri. With authentic dishes, food served on clay plates, wine served in stemless glasses and wooden tables for decor, it’s no wonder Westchester residents are flocking to see what Rosemary and Vine is all about.

One thing you may not notice while looking at the menu and being enticed by all the delicious options, is that all meals are vegetarian friendly! That being said, there are no tofu options or other dishes resembling ones that usually include a meat ingredient. All are authentic Mediterranean recipes such as the Turkish Braised Eggplant, Falafel and Moroccan Vegetable Tagine.

Some of the savory and unique menu options to start your meal off with are the house made pickles and roasted cauliflower. They also offer a great deal for those looking for a little of everything! For a fixed price you can get a starter, main meal and drink of choice of wine, beer or nonalcoholic.  A full list of their drink menu can be found here.
