Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Port Chester’s Local Irish Pub!

Posted by editor on 03/09/16

Whether your roots trace back to Irish heritage or not, St. Patrick’s Day is fun for all to celebrate–partially because of all the food! If you are looking to get into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, there is no better way to do it then visiting a local pub for some authentic Irish food! Port Chester is lucky enough to have a few places close by that will be whipping up Irish cuisine in celebration.

Our residents at The Castle are just minutes away from McShane’s Public House, one of Port Chester’s Irish Pubs. Lucky for Port Chester locals this isn’t just for St. Patrick’s Day either, but their authentic Irish dishes are served year round! If you miss the chance to stop by this week, make sure to one day soon.

McShane’s is just steps away from The Castle on North Main street! Their menu includes perfect St. Paddy’s Day celebration food such as their Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich, McShane’s Fish & Chips and McShane’s Bangers & Mash. They also serve a wide range of draft beers including Smithwicks, Harp– and Guinness of course! Their specialty cocktails are also great to pair with the Irish dish of your choosing. McShane’s full menu can be found here. To celebrate the special day they will be having live music,  bagpipes, t-shirt giveaways, and more! Check out their website or Facebook page for updates on St. Patrick’s Day and daily specials as they are always offering something new!

Looking for more local pubs to celebrate St.Patrick’s Day? There are several right outside of Port Chester, all less than a 20 minute drive from The Castle!

MacDuff’s Pub -Greenwich may be across state lines, but it’s less than a 10 minute drive from The Castle!
