Outdoor Dining Around Port Chester

Posted by editor on 05/05/16

The Port Chester waterfront is on the Byram River which empties into the Sound. The Village of Port Chester has been No.3 on a list of Top 10 Most Exciting Places to Live in New York and is officially known as the “Restaurant Capital of Westchester County.” That being said, we made a list of the top 3 places to dine outside in the area whether it’s on the waterfront or on a patio right on Main Ave.

Bartaco: If you love taco’s than you’ll definitely want to check this place out! Bartaco is a great place to hangout, unwind and enjoy food and drinks with your friends.  We would suggest trying the duck and fish tacos and a coconut mojito to wash it down! For dessert, indulge in the churros with chocolate dipping sauce.

Seaside Johnnies: If you’re looking for amazing views of the water and fresh seafood, Seaside Johnny’s is the place to be! They are well known for their clam strip appetizer, lobster bisque and mango margaritas! Now that summer is almost here, you can plan a trip to Oakland Beach and a sunset dinner on their patio.  During the summer Oakland Beach also has free concerts under their pavilion.

Nessa: We think this is the best Italian restaurant in town! It has a lovely ambiance, outdoor dining and delicious food and drinks.  We would suggest starting off with fried calamari, getting their classic rigatoni Bolognese for your entrée and if you’re not too full you can end the night with their homemade zeppoles!
