Cooking Demos at Tarry Market

Posted by editor on 04/20/17

On selected Saturdays this spring, Tarry Market will offer live demos and educational experiences of their hand-made and artisanal products sold daily.

Cheese lovers won’t want to miss the next demo on April 22nd.  It’s a hands-on class where participants will learn how to make mozzarella, burrata and ricotta cheese from scratch.  Following the demo, participants will make their own cheese and be able to sample them after and bring them home.  They will also receive a 20% discount shopping card to Tarry Market.

The April 29th class will feature rose wines, perfect for kicking off Spring.  Participants will sample four distinct rose wines during an educational conversation with Sommelier and Tarry Wine General Manager, Morgan Pruitt. Cheese and meats will also be served.

In 2008, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich brought their unique approach to Italian food when they opened Tarry Lodge in Port Chester.  Tarry Market brings the finest European and local artisanal products to Westchester and strives to deliver the finest Italian culinary experience.  They recently made a few additions including a grab-n-go breakfast section as well as offering steel cut oatmeal, warm Italian sandwiches, yoghurt parfaits and fresh squeezed orange juice at the market espresso bar.

Buy your tickets for both events here.  Make sure to use #TarryMarket the next time you visit the store for a chance for your Tweet/Instagram post to be featured on to their website.
