Christmas Eve in Port Chester

Posted by editor on 12/18/17

With Christmas just a week away, you’ll want to make your Christmas Eve dinner plans ASAP if you haven’t already. There are some great restaurants around The Castle or you can make a cozy dinner at home for your friends and loved ones.

One of our favorite places near The Castle is Port Chester Seafood.  The shop sells a wide variety of fresh fish and seafood, including shrimp, lobster, scallops, flounder, salmon and much more!  Port Chester Seafood goes to the Fulton Fish Market every morning and prides themselves in buying fish only from the day boats, which means they buy fish from boats that go out and return in the same day, so you know it’s extremely fresh. They fillet all their fish on premise and all their food is prepared daily.   If you are Italian and usually prepare the Feast of the Seven Fishes, then this is the perfect shop to purchase delicious and fresh seafood.

If you are planning on going out to dinner, then we suggest the Tarry Lodge.  Christmas Eve is a night to indulge in great food and drinks.  You’ll find both in abundance at the Tarry Lodge.  We suggest their grilled hanger steak, grilled lamb chops and salmon.  They have delicious sides such as rosemary roasted potatoes, roasted cauliflower and green beans with garlic and mint and much more.

Pasquale’s is another great option for Christmas Eve if you want to go the traditional Italian route.  This Italian restaurant is a crowd pleaser and is under a mile from your apartment. You can’t go wrong with this place!
