Westchester ARTSBASH 2018

Posted by editor on 05/14/18

ArtsWestchester is celebrating twenty years in its historic landmark building during its annual ArtsBash event.  This year’s event will be a “birthday party,” featuring tastings from 20+ local restaurants, open artist studios and cutting-edge art throughout their 9-floor building, which is just a 15-minute drive from your Castle apartment.

ArtsWestchester’s programs and services enrich the lives of everyone in Westchester County. They help fund concerts, exhibitions and plays through grants, bring artists into schools and community centers, advocate for the arts and build audiences through diverse marketing initiatives.  You can check their events page weekly for upcoming workshops, classes for adults and exhibits in Westchester.

Make sure to come hungry to this event as some of Westchester’s favorite food vendors will be attending such as:

License 2 Grill –  If you’re looking for some grilled summer classics such as cheeseburgers and hotdogs, you’ll want to check out this booth.  License 2 Grill also serves empanada’s, pulled pork sandwiches, wings and salads.

Blockheads – Celebrate ArtsWestchester with tacos! Blockheads is known for their delicious Mexican cuisine and tasty margaritas.  They’ll also be serving burritos, rice bowls and of course they’ll have guacamole.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza – You can’t go wrong ordering pizza from Anthony’s. We’re hoping they’re also serving their coal oven roasted chicken wings!
