Ring in the New Year Close to Your Castle Apartment!

Posted by editor on 12/19/18

Have you ever been to Times Square on New Year’s Eve? Years ago, it was much more “free-spirited” but as the times have changed so has “Times square.”  Still the thrill of the ball of crystal and big count down with the roar of the crowd is an exhilarating thing. As the changing of the calendar approaches 2019 what are your NYE plans? Just 20 minutes from your spectacular Castle apartment is downtown White Plains. Touted as a “family spectacular” event, this city knows how to throw a grand party.

Each year they host a very large outdoor New Year’s Eve Celebration featuring their own version of the Times Square tradition including music, entertainment and fireworks. The nearby city closes several streets for the tremendous crowd that forms to watch the glass ball drop. There are many bars and restaurants open for libations and fabulous food before, during and after the festivities. These restaurants, just to mention a few, are all within walking distance of the celebration.

Mediterraneo White Plains is one of the Z Hospitality group of hot spots in the metro area. All eight locations are very close to your Castle home. Here at the White Plains location, the menu reflects seafood for this location’s Mediterranean focus. Also known for their delicious pasta and pizza that will please every palate. Try one of their fun cocktails and feel like you have traveled to Europe with a “Paris Soleil – fresh strawberries, orange liquor, St. Germain, and Prosecco” to toast the New Year!

La Bocca Ristorante owned by Chef Tony Spiritosa who creates specialty dishes from his hometown by utilizing ingredients imported directly from Italy. Extensive wine list too! Private room available.
